Yet, thanks to the previous sword buff and some recent nerfs, the Falling Guillotine sword has quickly skyrocketed in popularity due to its sheer stopping power. This was only enhanced by the rise of burst damage weapons such as Izanagi’s Burden, Wendigo, and Xenophage. Who would have thought that a sword would be the premiere boss DPS weapon in Destiny 2? In a game where virtually every boss possesses a stomp mechanic, closing the gap to effectively attack an enemy was quite tricky.
